Art was always my favourite subject at school and was on my ‘bucket list’ to go back eventually but work, children and life in general kept getting in the way.

Sketching was what I loved most but my art teacher extended me to trying watercolours about 9 years ago.

As a Veterinarian, I absolutely love painting birds and wildlife. I grew up in Brisbane spending weekends either riding my horse or boating on Moreton Bay.

I finally moved to the Redlands about 25 years ago after living on a yacht for 2 years sailing the Queensland coast, hence I also like painting nautical scenes such as boats and lighthouses which take me back to the sea.
